In Horde Siege, extraction is the final objective after a squad completes its main mission. The official multiplayer deep dive says players must clear a landing zone and survive until their Raven arrives. While getting everyone out is best, the source says that technically one squad member needs to make it out alive to complete the mission.

Extraction matters to progression as well as survival. The official article says that Weapon Parts collected during a mission are kept only when at least one player in the squad successfully extracts and completes the mission. Weapon Parts are used to purchase unlocked Weapon Mods, so a strong run without a successful extraction does not provide the same long-term result.

Plan for the end of the run

The deep dive also explains that a fallen player drops COG tags, which squadmates can take to a Supply Cache to revive them. Other squads can pick up tags for an instant revive. If an entire squad is killed, it loses a Squad Life; exhausting all Squad Lives fails the mission with partial XP.

The selected source provides the core sequence but not live spawn timings, exact enemy balance, or matchmaking rules. Those are details to verify in current official release notes after launch.
